My Account Password doesn't work

Please make sure you don't have Caps-Lock on, passwords are case sensitive. You can request a Password Reset which will send an email to the address you entered during Registration. Follow instructions in that email to reset your password. If you are still unable to access your account using the new password please contact us and we will try our best to assist you.

Can I change my Account Username?

No. Your username cannot be changed once you have registered with us. You can change your name, email address and other profile details. If you feel you need your username to be amended for a valid reason please contact us. SkiPals reserves the right to refuse to change a user's account username.

My Account is Suspended, why is this?

SkiPals only suspends user accounts in the most serious cases, ranging from abusive to racist posts. Please see our Terms of Use for futher details. SkiPals takes any Abuse Report very seriously and will take appropriate action accordingly. SkiPals reserves the right to suspend or delete any User Account.

I have posted but it still shows as pending?

SkiPals checks and edits all posts. We do this for quality assurance as well as vetting any users who might abuse the system. Posts will usually be checked within 48 hours, but this may vary. Every post is treated on a first-in first-out basis. Checking times may vary during busy periods.

Why has my post been Rejected?

SkiPals will give a reason at the time of rejecting any posts which will be included in an email which will be sent to you. We only reject posts that do not have enough content or are posted in the wrong type. See our About page for more information on posting.

My post has been Blocked, why?

SkiPals will in some serious cases block a post. This will mean you are unable to edit and resubmit that post until we unblock it. If we feel you are posting abusive posts we may eventually suspend your account.

Why can't I upload my photo/avatar?

Our image uploader requires Javascript to be enabled in your browser. If you are using a mobile device you may also experience uploading issues.

How long do SkiPals Posts stay online?

SkiPals posts will stay online until you remove them, or they are removed by SkiPals.

How long do Accommodation Posts stay online?

Accommodation posts will expire after 365 days. Once a post has expired it will not be shown on the site, or in your post list.
